In-person workshops October 24th & 29th!
Learn how to navigate USAJobs.gov and receive personalized support in applying for your next career in natural resources. Federal workers will be at these workshops for guidance and to answer your questions.
What to expect and prepare before the workshop:
This is a longer, interactive workshop with one on one support. Plan for at least 2 hours for the workshop you attend. These cover every aspect of the federal application process, from navigating the website itself to interview etiquette and tips.
Prior to attending the workshop, please have the following ready to make the most of your time during the workshop:
- Bring your own laptop if you can! There will be computers at each workshop, but availability may be limited.
- Bring your most recent resume, that way you're not spending most of your time in the workshop creating one! If you don't have one, or you would like help updating one, visit one of the WorkSource centers near you.
- Make sure you have access to any other supporting documents you'll need, like college transcripts (can be unofficial), Schedule A letter, veteran documentation (DD-214 and/or SF-15), and anything else that may be relevant.
- Register using the links below, sign up includes dates and location details. These workshops are offered in Baker City, Pendleton, Enterprise, and La Grande.
