 The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) announced the availability of up to $20 million in grants for national out-of-school time organizations to expand local work-based learning opportunities, job training, and career pathways for underserved youth after school and during the summer.  

 Stipends / mini-grants of between $100-$3000 for afterschool programs and extracurricular activities to help engage 3000+ Oregon students in STEM activities this winter and spring!  

  Current and Future Students are Encouraged to Apply for Scholarshipsand Grants at OregonStudentAid.gov 

The Foundation’s mission is to empower youth; promote mentally, physically, and spiritually healthy families; and to inspire the love of wilderness areas.

 This includes efforts such as building or improving facilities; purchasing necessary equipment to facilitate a local program; and funding capital improvements which enhance a community’s infrastructure, viability and/or prosperity. 

 The Eastern Oregon Border area is defined as that part of Oregon that is within 20 miles of the Oregon border with the state of Idaho. 

Local governments within the

Border Region may apply for up to

$100,000 for planning projects such

as master plans, transportation

plans, airport plans, and park plans.
